Steph came to us with a plan for her dads 80th birthday, working with us a day a week with some tuition and then some bench hire she recreated her dads favourite train in planter form.
We think she did exceptionally well !
Anyone who has a project they wish to make in wood but doesnt currently have the skills or space? We charge £30 per hour for tuition and £15 per hour for bench/tool hire.

Pacing of the Course: 8/10 – was very well paced and definitely great for someone who wants an introduction into woodworking.
Content of the Course: 9/10 – well thought out and structured.
The level of learning: 10/10 – for myself this course just validated a passion that has been restored and definitely looking to do more in the future.
Value for Money: 10/10 – this was a birthday gift however from what I know how much the 1 day course cost, the value for money was fantastic and worth spending the money for years of knowledge from Karen and Structure from Andy.
Made me feel welcomed and encouraged that this is something that I’m good at and I could turn this passion into aspirations of a business somewhere down the line.

Thoroughly enjoyed my 2 days with Karen and Andy.
As I had no prior woodworking experience, I was nervous about the prospect of using heavy duty cutting equipment.
However safety was emphasised from the outset and this set me quickly at ease – everything was clearly explained and demonstrated, what to do, what to avoid and no pressure to proceed until I was comfortable.
Karen is clearly an experienced teacher and the course she devised provided me with exposure to a wide variety of tools and processes.
Throughout, the guys were so patient and extremely generous with their time and knowledge.
This was a very enjoyable course, highly recommended.

Karen and Andy ensured a safe and comfortable learning environment with adaptable teaching methods dependent on the respective task.
The course prioritised hands-on learning as opposed to passive learning, whilst still effectively teaching the necessary important information and adhering to & explaining health and safety regulations.
They gave a variety of recommendations of third party resources for independent use and a number of customisation options for the finished piece to make the experience more personal.

We attended a wood routering course with Karen and Andy, they tailor the course for our requirements. 5 stars are not enough 10 stars would suit them better.
Friendly and really great guy’s. Karen is really good teacher, explained everything in great detail, talk us through every process. Andy had a really neat PowerPoint presentation which works well with Karen explained of the machine in hand.
We picked up lots of handy tips with other wood working equipment as well, especially knowledgeable about the lastly health and safety.
All the equipment and PPE is provided.
We took are own machine which they setup for us and showed us how to use it safely.
We are looking forward to booking our next course with Andy and Karen in the future.
