The first course is aimed at novices and improvers.
The second design and make course is aimed at those who have attended a previous course.
To the right is a sycamore narrow console table with drawer with a turned black walnut drawer handle for contrast.
This table was made by one of our students on a five day design and make course.
This build included Haunched mortice and tenon joints, mitred mortice and tenon joints, and dovetail through and stopped joints for the drawer.
Course 1 : Make a coffee or hall console table (3 days), with optional drawer (5 days).
During this course you will produce a finished table from a choice of designs and materials.
You will complete every stage of manufacture from converting sawn timber to application of a finish.
Course 2 : Design and make.
This course will introduce you to the entire design process, providing guidance from design concept to finished article.
Course information can be discussed whilst attending another course.
